What if the aztecs werent killed?

With no doubt the Aztec Civilization would have advanced in the future more or less like the rest of the world has done so. The Aztec Civilization was in no respect stagnant or slow to develop. I believe that the density of their population compared to Europe was an important factor in that they had ample room, geographically , to expand. This fact allowed them to do so without the need to discover new land on which to produce food and fiber. The Aztec values were far more moral than the Europeans who had been forced in their history to learn the hard lesson of "Survival of The Fittest". While the Aztec were not innocent of conquering and enslaving the vanquished they held the upper hand in many respects when compared to the rest of the civilized world. I believe that the world would have been a far better place today had the Aztec influence been stronger throughout the world.
