India have not extended much help to Burma have we not stood up as a good neighbor ?

Being the nearest neighbour dont you think we have really not done much than we ought to have. Whereas the US inspite of being bluntly said to get lost by the burmaese are voicing their concern to help..watever may be the intentions...atleast now in this difficult time they have stood up whereas we have just sent some marginal help which is inconsequential to the magnititude of the disaster they have faced ? why are our politicians so mean and inhuman always.....i wonder.
